Hi, I have 0 experience with qt3 but have been playing around with Qt4, and so I kind of know the basics, so if noone else applies, I will be happy to help.
Also if its just a straight port, although you were probably alreay aware of this, but just in case, trolltech have created a qt3 to qt 4 porting tool, which while it doesn’t do everything, is designed to do the most tedious tasks of porting, leaving just the more important things to be changed manually.
Hassan, thanks for the offer – we are rethinking the strategy a bit after digging into the code and really think its better to focus on 3.0 and forget 2.0 but this means replacing the entire openlibraries communications layer which is done in python with c++ code…
