Hi, I am interested in becoming a beta tester, I have Windows Vista, and Linux Ubuntu.
My You Tube channel focuses primarily on creating visual effects with Jahshaka, as such I know what people are expecting, wishing for and also what is a realistic expectation.
I am also perfectly poised to create video tutorials for you, when Jahshaka is released.
I have been using Jahshaka for over 1 year now.
I teach other people how to make visual effects in Jahshaka.
have a working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere and so I know what is expected and what is realistically achievable in a given time frame.
I have access to Windows Vista, XP, and Ubuntu.
I would like to become a beta tester!
I’m on Mac OS X 10.5.8. Old, I know, but I can’t really upgrade on this machine again. Don’t know if you’re supporting this or if you’re going for newer versions, but I’m interested in this project. Currently editing just about weekly a video series on YouTube using Blender.
I work in Mac OS X 10.6, but I am willing to update to 10.7.
Hi, I just heard about your software from my friend who is currently studying programming.
I am very interested with your project but to be honest I am still a newbie with video editing and just learning to properly use Adobe After Effect. Most of the video that I’ll be editing right now will just be my travel documentary, since I am recording using camcorder instead of high end DSLR I am looking for away to create blur effect in video, 3D word, 3D image, slow motion using photo such as what can be done using after effect.
I’m using Windows 7, so if you need any newbie tester I’m definitely up for it. Hope you’ll consider me. Thanks and keep us updated!
I’m on Opensuse 12.1 and ave already done some work with Jahshaka… for example, the intro in the videos of meetthegimp
Thanks for all the offers to help out here! We are working on getting the v2 release ugraded so more people can understand what our goal is while we work on bulding out v3. And v3 is going to rock, its already more than 60% complete (if you got the new jahplayer to run thats the core there) so its not vapourware.
We will need a bit of help on both sides, once we have v2 release builds and v3 beta builds running on the latest platforms we will open up a beta testing forum where everyone can give us their feedback – that is unless someone else has a good idea how to manage a large pool of beta testers?

Hi, I’m quiet interested in this project, as I have being for a while. I’m running 3 machines, each with a different version of windows (xp, vista, 7). I also have a basic knowledge of python and c++ which may be of assistance.

I work in Win7 x64 at the studio, but at home I’m building an Ubuntu box, so i have access to both platforms, I’ve also been forced to use os X from time to time.

I’m currently working on several visual effects shots, a long with developing & testing a production pipeline and I would really like to see if something like Jahshaka could fit into it.
I have several years experience with CGI / visual effects creation, a long with a good understanding of production pipelines and where, and how software can fit in easily etcetera.
So yes, if it’s possible I would like to be in the beta testing group.

I’m using Jahshaka 2 for an animation project, and it is just amazing, but I hope that the 3 version will over come some of the short comings I’m facing… if it is still possible, please send me the version as soon as possible because I’m going to start work shortly

I’m willing to help test Jahshaka 3. It would be really nice to be able to help with testing a new video editing workflow for the open source community.
I mainly shoot H.264 .MOV videos on my Canon 60D. I’m working on a Windows 7 64-bit system, but I can also do some testing on Windows 8.
My computer is powered by an Intel Core i7 920 with an AMD Radeon HD 6870 and 12 GB (4×3) of DDR3 RAM.

I am interested in becoming a Product Beta Tester for the Jahshaka project, and also a Feature Specific Editor (as i saw on your website)
as i said in my comment i currently have an intel mac running mac os lion (10.7) and a Power PC running mac os leopard (10.5.8). (i would also like to know what versions you are planning on making Jahshaka available for, seeing as if you don’t release on 10.7 i can’t use the product).
