Jahshaka 3.0 editor

Heres the original design that was done up for the jahshaka 3.0 editor, it would be great to get your thoughts and feedback on it. The editor is avid styled but still fits in with the overall look and feel of jahshaka 3.0 and will have smooth integration with the desktop and media management system.

We are working on the designs for the 3d node based compositor which will be last to go up as they need a lot of work. As always, your feedback is priceless so let us hear what you think!

20 days? Is this for real?
I have been looking for a solution to my problems for a while… I needed a cheap (or open source, hehe) editor that can do somewhat sophisticated effects (masking, decent color correction, etc).
So can you edit with Jahshaka? Or is it just for effects?
    Thanks,
    Sam

The interface looks truly cool! I am a newbie, so preferably there will we options to enable tooltips while hovering over buttons, sliders, etc. It would be truly helpful. Presets/templates for different uses would be appreciated as well!

Please do Cyrillic language support. I was trying to use Jahshaka v2.0 – AddLayer – 3d text. My language uses the Cyrillic alphabet and when I entered text in their own language signs appeared ???????? instead of letters.

  • Spot on with this write-up, I actually suppose this web site needs much more consideration. I’ll in all probability be once more to read far more, thanks for that info.

  • Francisco Martinez says:

    OMG!!!
I kinda like the design more than After Effects!!!
The tabbed layout distribution it’s awesome to my think.
I’d be incredible if one day, with the cooperation of all the open source community, this program reaches the same capabilities of AE.

    Long Life to Open Source!!

I do not know how else to get it so I ask her about the comments. I wanted to ask whether she translated for my feeds from their web site in German Jahshaka.de.tl could advertise?

    One Question?
    For what are you waiting?
Can’t find download for Jahshaka 3.0…
Better than saying nothing is to say that the release needs more time but say something!
We’re waiting and waiting and waiting and …
Nothing… Neither a updated countdown nor any information about the new release-date…
Hurry Up! and say something to your fans/community…!!!!!!!!!

Hey! I love the way this is looking! i want a new way to edit (seeing as i am currently using final cut express 4)
and i think this is it! plus this (as i understand it) has effects as well! just amazing! as soon as this launches (which should be today right?) im going to download it!
can’t wait to try it! hopefully you guys also looked into adding 3rd party support (so maybe videocopilot or red giants software will work, or any open source plug ins).
looks great, and if this replaces premier pro (like i want it to) ill be sure to donate!
also if you could send me a list of export settings that would be great!
